Marathon Racer. Here is my reply from Support today about the confidence levels of the Heart Rate in json files. In response to Colinm Colinm39 wrote: Here is my reply from Support today about the confidence levels of the Heart Rate in json files. Colin This is very interesting.

We have 1,2 and 3 second intervals I have a missing heart beat and that wasn't detectable this time because when that happens my heart does about 3 faster catchups and there was no evidence of that Colin Colinm39 The intervals between your data is secs if you have a heart rate of say 60 that's 1 beat per second so if your heart is doing "triples" the extra beats could be missed or at least lost in any smoothing that may be going on.

I accept that at 1 second intervals it will be difficult to pickup. I've been playing with the export too. In response to jdeluyck. Hello everyone.

Again, thank you very much for all of your feedback. Feel free to reach out if there is anything I can assist you with. LanuzaFitbit can I find anywhere what data is actually in the files? Hi LanuzaFitbit , The link you've posted to the help page describing the included data in the export is far from complete.

Hello LanuzaFitbit , Thanks. Is there more information available except this limited page? I apologize for the delay in my response. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Apart from prediction files, we also require a "schema" file from client which contains all the relevant information about the training files such as: Name of the files, Length of Date value in FileName, Length of Time value in FileName, Number of Columns, Name of the Columns and their datatype. In this step, we perform different sets of validation on the given set of training files.

We will be deploying the model to the Pivotal Web Services Platform. This is a workflow diagram for the prediction of using the trained model. Skip to content. Star 2. Branches Tags. It used to be a fairly simple process that downloaded data in a format suitable for loading to Excel but now it is much more complicated and not so easy to get into an XLS format.

A number of people have raised concerns about this change. Fitbit have acknowledged those concerns and are considering what, if anything, to do.

So, it's possible that the old way of exporting may come back. Keep an eye on the following thread where they are making updates on the situation:. I am aware of the changes they made to the download and I am ok with that. Previously I could download either a CSV file or even better an XLS file which gave me exactly what I needed to save a precise history of my FitBit use that assisted in show my Doctors the info that they were interested in. The new JSON format gives me a bunch of pieces with all the data that I need but not in a format that I could bring to my Doctor to show him anything unless I brought him pages or print out that he would not even look at.

There is probably a way to convert these JSON files into something meaningful which is what I am looking for. It's nice to see you too SteveH , thanks for all your help. CharlieHathaway , I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us.

Please note that as SteveH mentioned, our team has recently changed the way the data gets exported from our servers. At this moment, please keep an eye on this thread , that our team will keep updating with new information about this situation.

It's great to see you too CharlieHathaway , thanks for taking the time to reply. I appreciate you have come back and let me know this issue seems to have been resolved, I'm very glad.

That doesn't appear to be a solution for the Charge 2. I want to have access to my data and export so I can put it on a spreadsheet. I get the weekly updates so I know the data is available so it should be available for me.

Hello RichardCW , thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to have you on board the Fitbit Community. I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your question with us. This change makes the Fitbit almost useless to me. Change it back before you begin losing customers like crazy. In fact I would like to see it reinstated by November 20 or I may need to start adding comments about its uselessness on various online sites. What a shame that would be before Black Friday. Ditto everything Olivia said.

I want the control back of my data. I share with my trainer, physician and my dietician. I take my health and fitness very seriously. We picked Fitbit because we were able to access and use our data. I will post here and on social media until this is resolved.

Please restore the old CSV file download process. The CSV download was so simple to use and did not take a lot of time to complete. Why do I have to learn a whole new process just for your change? The "new" download process is such a joke and takes us back about 10 years in tech.

I would like to join the other voices saying this change to export data is dreadful. I used to be able to export the past week, and only the data that I wanted. Now, I have no idea what's going on, but I certainly don't want all the data in a zip file as someone has suggested. This could be enough to make me move to another fitness tracker.

Especially since there seems to be an tsunami of anger about this change and yet Fitbit doesn't have a response. When I wrote I got a stupid e mail saying that I should send an e mail Seriously, in my book Fitbit has about a week to sort this out and then I'm looking for another product.

My wife and I are also very annoyed at the removal of the excel download feature, definitely a backward move. You have a ton of complaints on this issue, how many more do you need before restoring the excel download facility? Would certainly not recommend the Fitbit until facility restored. I can no longer download my data into Excel.

What happened? Please fix this ASAP. I have been downloading my Fitbit data into an Excel spreadsheet where I have set up graphs to track my progress to goal.

I have been doing this using Fitbit for years. Suddenly this feature is no longer available? Just another frustrated user commenting where ever possible to get usable data back before I switch devices. Hoping you realize that you'll lose repeat customers by ignoring these requests.
